Madonna was EVEN offered a place on the panel of judges but turned it down due to Kabbalah meetings. A girl has to do what a girl has to do, right? Cannes bigwig Thierry Fremaux was disappointed by her snub saying, "We talked about her being on the jury, but her religion meant this could not happen. It is a regret because she has valuable knowledge." Kabbalah over career, hmmm.
